How long does a website take to build?
A focused business website typically takes three to six weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on the number of pages and the amount of content needed. We agree a clear timeline at the start.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. We build on content systems your team can operate, and we set up training and documentation so day-to-day updates don’t need a developer.
Do you redesign existing sites or only build new ones?
Both. A redesign is often the right move when a site is slow, dated, or hard to maintain — and it’s usually cheaper than you expect because we reuse the structure and content you already have.
What happens after the site launches — do you offer ongoing care?
Yes. Every site launches with care included — 30 days on Starter and 60 days on Standard and Growth. After that you can pick a care plan below (Essential, Standard, or Growth) or go pay-as-you-go. All care plans are monthly, billed via Stripe, and you can cancel or switch before the next cycle. Hosting and domain remain at cost — no markup.
What counts as an included change vs extra work?
Included time is for small, bounded tasks inside your site — text and image updates, swapping a section, fixing a bug, or adding a simple form field. New pages, new features, redesigns, and integrations are quoted separately at NZ$100–$150/hr depending on task and complexity, or as a quoted stage, so you always know before we start.
Do I need a care plan if I can update content myself?
You can manage day-to-day content with or without a plan. Care plans cover what content editing doesn’t: core and plugin updates, daily backups, uptime and security monitoring, and a human to call when something breaks. If your site rarely changes, Essential keeps it safe. If it changes monthly, Standard or Growth saves you queuing for ad-hoc time.
